Small Groups

Ladies’ Bible Study

Women are welcome to join a study group every other Thursday afternoon at the Church. Sometimes the topic is a study on a book of the Bible or sometimes on a Christian book recommended to us. Please contact the Church Office if you would like to join.

Book Club

The book club meets once a month usually on the last Friday of the month at the Church. They read a variety of books, not following any sort of theme. They have discussion questions about the book and have time to just chat as well. For more information about connecting with this group, please contact the Church Office.

Indigenous Studies

Creative Nights

Creative Nights are open to everyone, typically held four times a year. You’ll be led through a variety of projects by people who like to make things. A small fee is usually requested to help cover the costs. Visit the Upcoming Events page for more information.

Dinner & a Doc

One evening a month we’ll gather for a potluck style dinner, watch a documentary and have a discussion afterwards.

Spirituality Study Group

As a community who understands that we live in the tension between what is and what can be, we wrestle with questions that surround our faith and its expression in our world.  We currently meet on the first Wednesday of the month at 7pm and are using the Living the Questions 2 online curriculum.

This is a video and discussion small group that will feature a diversity of Christian scholars who have decided to live with questions instead of accepting shallow or traditional answers.  By honouring each other’s questions, we hope to create an environment where it is safe to explore those questions and where Christianity is heading.
