A special community event featuring Adrian Jacobs of the Turtle Clan, Cayuga Nation, sharing on the Spiritual Covenant—a reflection on land, relationship and reconciliation. Includes a thanksgiving with strawberries—the first fruit of the season and a sacred gift in Haudenosaunee culture, as well as sharing communion and a delicious lunch together.

Huronia Historical Parks is proud to help highlight the accomplishments and innovations of Indigenous peoples through our educational celebration on June 19, our free online learning event launching June 20, as well as our lacrosse-focused celebration on June 21.

“re-neighbour” Haundenosaunee and Inuit communities impacted historically by the local residential school and Hamilton Mountain TB Sanatorium. Art created by Inuit patients of “the San” will be available for viewing.
