Love That Enters Suffering
Scripture: John 19:16–30
Good Friday tells the truth. Love does not avoid suffering; it enters it. The cross reveals a God who knows betrayal, violence, and grief from the inside. This is not a story to rush past. God does not explain suffering away…God stays with us in it. That is the promise.
Practice: Light a candle today and sit in silence. Do not try to resolve the tension. Let God meet you there.
Prayer: Crucified Christ, stay with all who suffer today. Stay with me. Amen.
